Web3 Innovations,
Shared Computing and Storage for a Decentralized Future with Logos
Welcome to the Logos Project, an open-source initiative started by LogosLabs. We are dedicated to the research and implementation of Web3 technologies, aiming to enhance their understanding, acceptance, and usability.
A central element of our work is the sub0layer, an innovative confidential computation and storage solution based on blockchain technology. This DePIN (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network) solution aims to achieve greater decentralization and independence by shifting computational operations from traditional cloud providers to a trustless community-operated decentralized infrastructure. This strengthens user autonomy and reduces dependence on centralized services.
Every contribution makes this project more accessible and user-friendly. We invite everyone interested in advancing this forward-looking approach to join us and collectively shape the future of Web3.
Network
The Logos Network is the technical implementation of the sub0layer, offering a new way to integrate community-provided computational resources with the decentralized structure of blockchain technology.
The core of the Logos Network includes the Logos Chain and the Distributed Virtual Computing Infrastructure (DVCI). The DVCI serves as a data center, managed through strict blockchain protocols to guarantee robust and secure operations. The infrastructure integrates computational and storage resources from the community along with the foundational infrastructure environment provided by LogosLabs.
Our intention is to establish a publicly operated network with select private elements, enhanced by our own newly developed security model. This strategy allows us to embrace the benefits of decentralization while ensuring high levels of security and efficiency. The Logos Network will be governed by the community, enabling members to actively participate in shaping its direction and policies.
The Logos Network is a community computer that's open to everyone but owned by no one. It's a self-managed network designed to pool, access, and share computing power and storage. Our goal is to give Web3 an enterprise-grade core infrastructure solution using decentralized technologies and community governance, also making computing power and storage significantly more affordable and fair.
Who we are
We are a small team of tech enthusiasts and IT professionals from Austria, dedicated to contributing to the technology sector. By leveraging our collective expertise and insights, we aim to refine and enhance the fundamental principles of Web3.
